I was skeptical about Escalates ability to refine and "jewel" (as some detailing professionals and enthusiasts like to say) my Nissan 370Z's paintwork to a superior gloss and shine. My 370Z has very soft paintwork so it's a struggle to remove "hazing" that happens when you cut and polish the paintwork. I wanted to get the very best finish I could get so I figured I would give Escalate a try, and I am very happy I did. It is a great polish that can bring out that very last 10% of gloss and clarity, leaving a beautiful finish when coupled with the Polishangel Master Compound and Master Final Polish II. Two other great final polish and also "pre-wax" paintwork cleansers and "primers" of sorts to use before the application of any wax or sealant are PALM BALM and CONTOUR. Contour has high grade carnauba wax flakes infused into the formula so you not only get a great pre-wax cleansing agent, you also get a great "base" layer of wax, ready for an application of their long term, high grade, carnauba wax formulations. Polishangel has some of the best waxes and sealants I have ever used. Their Viking series for cold climates and very long durability are some of my favorite sealants and spray maintenance sealant/drying aid. I also really enjoy all their interior products, which are some of the best I have ever used, and you can immediately tell they are high quality products. The presentation of the products has always been top notch. Nothing super fancy as the labels are printed on a printer and all their products are "made to order" so everything you receive will be from a fresh batch. They do however elevate the experience with their presentation, which looks very classy and professionally done. Their waxes are some of the best I have ever used also, and they have fantastic spray waxes and sealants that have long durability, superior gloss, and great hydrophobic effect allowing the water to just run right off the vehicle, not having the ability to stay on the finish due to it's slickness, and water repelling effect of the wax or sealant you use. I usually use a base sealant like Cosmic or Viking Coat, both very easy to apply, and then maintain it with one of their spray waxes or sealants. They also have the ability to create a specialty wax for your specific vehicle, allowing you to type in the vehicle information and VIN# at the order screen, and Polishangel will mix a batch of wax specifically for your vehicle color, infusing a coloring agent into the formulation which has their proprietary ingredients, and high grade pure carnauba wax, and a wax that is designed to enhance the color of your paintwork. While their are other, cheap colored waxes, they are not the same as Polishangels' hand mixed and formulated using the specific vehicle color from the manufacturer and then creating a wax that is as close to that color as possible, and enhancing the end result. Couple the Escalate jeweling Polish, then a coat of the Contour pre-wax preparer, and then use one of the Carnauba Flake series in their High Gloss range of products, along with the accompanying spray wax for further maintenance, and with the proper prep and polishing stages, you will have a beautiful finish, worthy of your own pride and joy, especially if that joy is a sports car! Polishangel will always be my "go to" and favorite products for detailing, until some other companies out does them, but I think that would be a hard thing to do. I will say, these products are certainly not cheap. They are high end products designed for the detailing professional that works on higher end cars. And super car and hyper car, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, Tesla, Lucid, Maserati, Ferrari, and the list goes on and on. I don't have any of those cars, but that's the type of people i see using these products, and have the income to support their purchases. You have to "pay to play" as they say! Personally I will still always continue to purchase Polishangel products, as I just enjoy how they perform. The only thing about their polishing chemicals however is they really should be applied using a machine polisher. Nothing hard about it, even for the novice detailing enthusiast or professional. A simple DA polisher will work great as long as you utilize decent pads, not those really cheap pads. For USA customers, Harbor Freight has some great options and they even have a battery powered polisher now, which is great. I love my battery powered polishers. It just makes polishing so much easier without having to deal with the cord getting in the way. It speeds up the polishing process. Harbor Freight has some great pad options too now. I was impressed with their detailing products selection. Even their wash bucket grit guard looked to be really good for the price. Either way, just use a polisher to get the maximum gloss and also the best paint correction and removal of the minor scratches which are present on almost all vehicles.
